Flexible Ceramic Pad (FCP) Heaters are made from 95% Al2O3. These pad heaters are assembled of interlocking sintered alumina ceramic beads which insulate stranded nickel-chrome wire. It is also used in post heat treatment of weld joints and preheating of materials to be welded. Heating Elements operate on low voltage (80 volts or less on AC or DC current) such as that supplied by a typical are welding power source.
