Bearing steel grit

Description

      Steel Grit is an angular metallic abrasive produced by crushing bearing steel . Steel Grit

is used for descaling, coating and corrosion removal, and surface etching. 

       Steel Grit is tempered to three different hardnesses. The hardest material GH, isdesigned

 for use exclusively in air blasting equipment. The two softer materials, GL and GP, may also

 be used in centrifugal wheel blast equipment.

Application

1.Shipbuilding

 With grit blasting, oxygenated surface of ship hull is descaled,then improves the coating quality.

2.Container

  With air blasting, container production efficiency is improved. Certain roughness is obtained to improve coating quality

3.Oil and gas pipeline

  With grit blasting, pipelines get rust resistance and anti-corrosion.

4.Locomotive and wagon 

   With blasting, coating quality is greatly improved.

5.Surface pre-treatment and casting

  Steel grit can also be used for surface pre-treatment, cleaning and descaling for casting parts.

6.Cold rolled steel

  Special steel grit will keep the production ability and certain roughness of cold roll.
