The GCE Basecontrol® FLOW Cylinder Regulator is engineered to meet ISO 2503 standards, ensuring safe and reliable operation with high-pressure gases up to 230 bar. Designed for precision gas flow control, the regulator is available in both standard and pre-heater-equipped versions, making it ideal for applications that require stable CO? performance.

This professional-grade cylinder regulator enables safe handling of high-pressure gases, with options including the Basecontrol® FLOW standard model and the Basecontrol® FLOW with preheater (36V, 120W). A CE-marked power transformer (220V/110V ? 36V) was introduced in mid-2016. The regulator also features a 50 ?m inlet filter to protect the regulating valves from debris, an integrated pressure relief valve to safeguard low-pressure components, and dual pressure gauges displaying readings in bar, kPa, and psi. The high-precision flowmeter tube (Class 10) allows accurate control from 0 to 30 L/min, and the regulator is built for long operational life, durability, and electrical safety.

The outlet connection is designed for a gas-tight hose nipple to ensure leak-free performance. The pressure gauges are 50 mm in diameter, conforming to ISO 5171 standards, and are connected to the regulator body with G1/4" threads. The regulator body is forged brass for superior strength and pressure resistance, while the die-cast Zn-Al alloy bonnet provides optimal housing for the internal mechanisms. CNC-machined internal channels guarantee precise regulation and long-term durability, allowing the unit to withstand both internal and external mechanical stresses.

The flowmeter assembly features a precision-machined anodized aluminum body for corrosion resistance, along with an ergonomic, life-cycle-tested flow adjustment knob. The PA float-type tube is calibrated for Ar/CO? with Class 10 accuracy. For applications requiring consistent CO? flow, the optional 36V/120W pre-heater ensures continuous operation, equipped with a CE-certified thermostat and heating unit, fully insulated for maximum operator safety and performance stability.

Technical specifications include a brass-forged body and Zn/Al alloy die-cast bonnet for both Ar/CO? and CO? applications. All fittings are brass, with EPDM diaphragms and a maximum inlet pressure of 230 bar. The flow range is 0–30 L/min, and the operating temperature range is –20°C to 60°C. The optional preheater operates at 36V and 120W, and the regulator weighs approximately 1.18 kg, meeting ISO 2503 Class 10 standards.
