The CHAMP MIG 400 is a world-class inverter-based MIG welding machine engineered for high-performance industrial applications. It offers exceptional efficiency of 87% at 100% duty cycle and an open circuit voltage of 65V ±5%. The welding voltage range is 16 to 39V DC, while the welding current range is 50 to 400 Amps DC, with a rating of 400A @ 60% duty cycle and 310A @ 100% duty cycle. The machine features comprehensive front panel controls including 2T/4T switch, gas check, OCV check, and potentiometers for setting crater voltage and current (wire feed speed), as well as main voltage and current. The unit is cooled by a forced air system and uses H-class insulation, ensuring durability under demanding conditions.
